FAQ

Cardholder Safety and Security

  • Never write your PIN (Personal Identification Number) on your card or store it with or near your card.

  • Never give your card, card number, or PIN to another individual.

  • Provide your card number, name and expiration date only to merchants that you know and trust.

  • Never provide your card number, PIN or expiration date as a means of identification over the phone or via email. Many scam artists will pose as a representative of a financial institution or business and ask for this information.

  • Always shield/block the keypad when entering your PIN, so no one else can see it.

  • Always be aware of your surroundings and never use an ATM that is not well lit or publicly visible.

  • Verify that withdrawal amounts on your bank statement match the amounts on your receipts and report any discrepancies to your financial institution right away.
